Celtic oppidum
Remains of one of the most significant Celtic oppidums in Europe. The oppidum became known to the public in 1877 in relation to the discovery of a treasure containing silver and gold Celtic coins.

Hrazany - site of an ancient prehistoric settlement
An archaeological preserve of primeval hillfort from the late Iron Age. It is a Celtic town - an oppidum situated on a promontory over the Moldau river, with the area exceeding 30 ha, fortified by a system of ramparts.

Levý Hradec - site of an ancient Slavonic settlement
A hilfort located over a sharp bend of the Moldau river on the flat top of a large promontory with the area of 6.4 ha and the perimeter of 1.5 km. It was founded in the 8th or early 9th century on remains of a primeval fortification. In the 9th century, the hillfort was a seat of Přemysl princes and the political center of Czech state, before it was moved to Prague.

Libice nad Cidlinou - archaeological dig
The foundation of an old Slavonic fortification, established by the Slavnikovs. After the autumn of 995, when the Slavnikovs were murdered by the Přemysls and Vršovecs, the fortification was transferred into the hands of the Vršovecs. In 1130 the fortification fell victim to a fire. Today, there is a visible stone foundation on its site of a pre-Romanesque church or the Soběslav palace.

Libušín - site of an ancient prehistoric settlement
A triangular hillfort with area of 12.3 ha and total length of fortification walls exceeding 1 kilometer. There is the Church of St. George with a cemetery in its eastern corner. The hillfort belonged to the tribe of Czechs and dates back to the middle hillfort age (in the late 9th or 10th century).

An archaeological historical preserve of barrow area of Lusatian culture from the early bronze age, which spread over the left bank of Labe. There are about 25 barrows with stone cores and circumferential collars with remains from burnt-burials.

St. Kilian's Island - archaeological dig
Archaeological excavations conducted on the St. Christopher island in 20th century uncovered the remains of a Romanesque cloister. The Benedictine monastery founded in 999 by the prince Boleslav II. had been an important cultural centre. Only after the Hussite wars the abbots decided to move the monastery elsewhere and the old cloister was left to the wilderness.

A research memorial located at one of the largest barrow grounds in Central Bohemia. It was erected in 1953 and is about 3 m high. Its main part consists of stele of black Swedish granite with a commemorative inscription.

Uncovered foundations and parts of buildings of a large and obviously quite important Celtic settlement from 5th century BC. The fortification is 9 km long and the walls are 3 - 9 m high. The Celtic settlement is one of the largest in Europe.
